Greetings! The year seems to be whizzing by as usual and its hard to believe soon we will be 5 months into 2026! Still, I am greatful to know the time I am spending is full of beauty, inspiration, and joy. After a marathon of holiday markets in December 2025, I was able to indulge in a few months of winter time joys....hermit-mode, art-making, hike-taking, family spending fun. I made significant progress on my latest woodblock print, which I am considering titling "Ancient Portal Oak in Cosmic Egg", though the official title isnt given until the peace is fully done haha! This project was inspired by an Oak tree I saw in a special place in central California, which upon a recent return, I saw is also the home to a magical beehive which buzzes within the arch of the tree! Truly magical.
